Updates for the incoming School Year 2020-2021
Dear Parents and Guardians:
Greetings!
We hope that you are all doing fine amidst the crisis that our country is experiencing right now due to COVID-19. As all other establishments, our school abides by the necessary restrictions that go with the quarantine which have generally affected the movement of people and the community.
At this point, we would like to share to you all the steps we are taking for what was held up for SY 2019-2020 as well as the initial plans for the coming school year.
1. Final exams for SY 2019-2020 were already conducted online. Currently grades are being computed, deliberation will be conducted and grades will be released by the advisers by end of this month.
2. Graduation/ Completion Program. These ceremonies have been cancelled based on the direction of DepEd Sec. Leonora Briones. However, graduating students and completers who have finished all their requirements and have no accountabilities in school shall be given their respective credentials such as diploma, transcripts of record, Form 138/ Report Card, etc. Please wait for the schedule of release of such documents.
3. The giving of Certificates of Recognition and other awards for the undergraduate will be coursed through the class adviser of the student.
4. Enrolment procedure for the coming school year will be done online. Procedure for enrolment is now being polished for implementation according to the set schedule.
5. Plans for School Year 2020-2021
a. Classes will open as per the direction of the Department of Education (DepED) which is on August 24, 2020.
b. Your child should not miss a year of learning but their health and safety is of utmost importance. That is why, initially, all Classes will be conducted through ONLINE MODE.
Online class involves online channels with real-time instruction. The following platforms will be used: Zoom, Google classroom, DepEd Commons and the likes.
Actual Classroom Instruction will be determined based on the development of the COVID 19 situation
c. Instructional and Course Materials
Teachers will undergo refresher course/ training to prepare them for the identified mode of instruction. They will prepare highly engaging activities etc.
All the materials aim to lead the students to attain the desired and expected learning competencies per quarter/ semester.
Books and worksheets shall be utilized.
d. Online Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities will be done to develop leadership, social and interpersonal skills of the students.
e. Online Admission. Please be informed that the schedule of early enrollment for the basic education levels (Pre-School, GS, JHS, and SHS) will be on the first week of June.
