Gorettians win in ISAAL Battle of the Brains

St. Mary Goretti School took home top awards in the recently concluded ISAAL Battle of the Brains competition at SM Novaliches.
The Elementary level team 1 from SMGS Palmera grabbed the 1st place award. The students were: Janna Marie Garcia (Grade 1), Lemuel Lorence Trojillo (Grade 2) and Joana Mae Barallas (Grade 3). While on the High School level, team 3 from SMGS Amparo were declared the champions. SMGS Palmera grabs 1st Place in Folk Dance Contest

SMGS Palmera took the 1st place award in a dance competition against other schools in the Kaypian Palmera Festival 2011 Folk Dance Competition held at Brgy.Kaypian Hall this month. The following students took part in the said competition;

SMGS students are champions again in ISAAL Spelling Bee at Fatima University

Chadessca Macaraeg (2nd year) and Michael Tañon (1st year) got the highest score in the ISAAL (Inter School Academics and Athletics League) Spelling Bee competition held at Fatima University.
Other SMGS spelling bee winners were Matthew Isorena (3rd year) at 2nd Place and Ariane Homol (4th year) at 10th Place. In the elementary level, Kyla Tabirara (Grade 6) won 7th place.
SMGS Palmera branch also participated in same the contest. For the elementary level, winners were Natalie Kayla Dayapera (Grade 3) and John Michael Ganzagan who both ranked 4th place; Erwin Adrianne Masangkay, (Grade 5); John Lester Masangkay (Grade 1) at 5th place; and Lemuel Lawrence Trojillo (Grade 2) 9th place. In the high school Level, Joanne Requireme got 4th place.
Participants in the contest were students from Caloocan and Quezon City private schools.

Gorettians are victorious once more, grabbing primary awards in the ISVBL (Inter-School Basketball Volleyball Basketball League) competitions. Bryan Pactores and Jessa Mae Villamora, both 3rd Year students were awarded Mr. and Mrs. ISAAL, respectively, during the ISAAL Season 5 grand opening ceremony at Grace Hope Christian Academy. Kenji Canaling and Princess Tandaan from SMGS Palmera also participated in the competition. Canaling was awarded 'Best in Sports Wear'

SMGS students qualify in Mathematics Trainers Guild Philippines Exams

13 Students from SMGS Amparo and 9 Students from SMGS Palmera passed the qualifying exam in MTG Philippines. Those who qualify in MTG Philippines exams are trained for international competitions upon reaching level 6. The students who qualified were:
