St. Mary Goretti School (SMGS)

History

St. Mary Goretti School has its humble beginnings at Dela Costa Homes II, Novaliches and San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. It started as a vision of an educator who has several decades of experience in teaching and administration.

The school first opened its doors in 1998 and initially offered pre-school education during its first year of operation. At that time, the school was only renting some units in the subdivisions where the two branches of the school are located.  As the school continues to provide quality education at affordable fees, grade levels were added each year and new classrooms were created to accommodate the school’s increasing population.  Today, St. Mary Goretti School has its own building (in both Kalookan and Bulacan campuses) with ample space for outdoor activities.  What started as an educator’s aspirations to impart her experience and passion for teaching and learning has now metamorphosed into a reality.  True to its objectives, SMGS has produced exceptional graduates who are now studying in reputable colleges and universities.

SMGS Logo

The school chooses St. Mary Goretti, the saint of the youth, as a model for its students.  The school logo embraces knowledge, wisdom and chastity to live up with St. Mary Goretti’s ideals and values. St. Mary Goretti School aims to produce students who are not only knowledgeable, but are also full of wisdom (that is, able to discern truth and good judgement).  It also aims to mold students into pillars and bearers of dignity, making them productive and useful citizens.
